Water Damage Restoration
Harris Services uses state of the art equipment for fast drying resulting in lower replacement and insurance costs. Quick response is key for fast and effective structure drying. If the elements of nature dampen your home, here are some first action items to prevent future water damage.
We provide a ½ hour customer response time and a 2 hour maximum on-site arrival time. We will assess the effected area and act quickly to avoid costly damage caused by standing water. We apply antimicrobials as needed, use specialized extraction tools, conduct daily monitoring of the drying process, communicate daily with the customer and insurance professionals.

The Drying Process
Our drying process requires more equipment, but the results are worth it.
There is less need for reinstallation of carpets and pads which reduces
the need to handle contents. Our restoration professionals will visit daily to inspect all affected areas, monitor the drying process, and document the cause of loss and damage.

Thorough extraction from carpet and pad with weighted extraction tools assures that drying of carpet material will be quick and efficient. The Turbo Dryer will keep the air flow moving while carrying the moisture to the dehumidifier to remove it from the effected structure. A state-of-the-art dehumidifier is designed to dry the entire structure efficiently by lowering the humidity and providing optimum drying conditions. Once the structure is completely dry we clean the affected carpet, returning it to a pre-loss condition.
Specialized structure drying equipment helps us to reach inside wall cavities and behind cabinets without the need of major repair work. Hardwood flooring can be very expensive to replace. Many times we can dry the floor to a safe moisture level and to a point that repairs are not needed. Some floors may require a light sanding and refinishing.
